The Vision

The Calling

In a clear and evident way in his late 40's, God impressed upon Matthew LaRaviere His desire for him to be an Evangelist. Being the son of a drunk who found Jesus on the street, Matthew accepted Christ at a tent revival meetings in New Holland Pennsylvania at the age of 17. The call to be an Evangelist came on the night of Matthew & Becky's 25th wedding anniversary. As Matthew looked out the high rise windows from their VIP suite at the Denver Sheraton Hotel in Colorado, and seeing all the homeless making their beds on the sidewalk, it was then that God spoke strongly into Matthew's life telling him that he was not called to look down on the street, but to work for Him on the street sharing the Gospel.

The Burden

The burden is for those that do not know Christ or do not know Him more fully. The burden also runs deep for those who live their lives without hope because of sin, and those both within and without a church who are hurting due to unfortunate circumstance or loss. Matthew comes from an impossible circumstance and has seen first hand how God takes the impossible and makes it entirely possible.

The Vision

  1. To bring lost souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching, and witnessing, using unlimited means (i.e., evangelism and missionary efforts, radio and social media broadcasts, etc.)

  2. To make true disciples for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through educating and training others to follow obediently in the footsteps of Jesus; and to proclaim Christ everywhere we go. The vision may entail reaching out through economic development programs and special projects with the help of volunteers.

  3. This mission strives to win souls for Christ and to spiritually nurture and feed its people. We believe the church must rise to its calling. "Where there is no vision, the people perish..." (Proverbs 29:18).

The Mission Starts With Us

  1. The first focus of this ministry to have it's missionaries enjoy a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ that promotes the spread of the Gospel through preaching, teaching, and sharing personal experiences that changed lives.

  2. A close relationship with Christ enables the missionary to be an effective worker for Christ both on the street and in the church.

  3. The primary objective wherever we are, and whatever we are doing, is to win souls to Christ.

God Will Provide

This ministry does not ask for money to fund the ministry, travel, or other expenses. We believe God can and does provide for us as He has promised. When donations are received, 100% of those donations benefit on-going ministry efforts. No funds donated are used for salaries for Matthew, any of his family, or volunteers.
